Christmas at The Kidlington Centre and in the High Street

The Kidlington Centre along with the Local Council held the Kidlington Christmas light switch-on on the 30th November 2017.
The Kidlington Centre was lucky enough to have a special visit from Santa who came and visited - in his Grotto - the local youngsters. Santa was ably assisted by two Elves, Candice and Amelia who swapped their usual jobs as Account Managers to help and entertain the kids.
Santa was not the only one who we were lucky to have that evening because after a sucessful Halloween, Jade our local face painter, painted festive little scenes on all the faces of the children who visited Santa and the shops, many of whom were open that special evening.
Waiting excitedly to see Santa were Louis Brownsill, Ollie and Theo Cole and Stacey and Kelly Mukarakate.
Having their face painted was Eleanor Mckeever and Amber East.
Paying a special visit, both in the Centre and in the High Street, Twinkle the very tall lady made all the passers-by but especially the kids smile.
On stage we had Edward Feild school singing in what looked like a snowstorm, also performing were the Oxford Stage Coach performers and a choir from Gosford Hill comprising both Teachers and Students.
Santa left The Kidlington Centre for a brief time to switch on the Lights that illuminated Kidlington.
From begining to end the High Street and The Kidlington Centre have never been so full of people who were having a great time supporting charities and buying sweets and food from Venders all along the High Street. Within the Centre the Shops were giving away mince pies and drinks and Ubuntu held a raffle and Tombola.
